StructureLab: Two-Tier Canopy

Brief:

An adaptation and simplification of the Two-Tier inflatable clad structure (also in our StructureLab zone).

Results:

Sometimes the simplest of ideas are the best, allowing maximal through-flow of air and light, with effective shielding from the rain and direct sunlight. Ideal as a viewing platform or elevated display area, the Two-Tier canopy brings much of the drama and aesthetics or the fully-enclosed version, for the smaller budget.
